Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Community Support (ICS) Travel Award* (2018). University of Western Ontario. Awarded to doctoral students within Canada who are travelling to academic conferences to present research; winners are ranked highly for academic achievement, alignment with CIHR’s Institutes, and relevance to academic development. $1000. *Competitive

Graduate Gold Medal for Academic Excellence* (2016). Wilfrid Laurier University. Awarded to one Master’s student recommended by their department and selected by the WLU Graduate Awards Committee. Award can only be granted if the candidate has: minimum GPA of 10.5 in course work, a minimum of A- in any course, and the examination committee considers thesis work to be outstanding. *Competitive
